Padmavati has upset the Bollywood release schedule and set up the possibility of an epic clash. There is a strong possibility that Deepika Padukone film will end up clashing with Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai. More films are opting for a clash lately. In the official statement, the producers Viacom18 have not finalized the new date for their movie.
Out of the two Padmavati is the costliest film and they will be looking to target the Christmas weekend. Padmavati makers have also angered the CBFC by holding a private screening. To add to that, India Today reports that they broke many rules by sending them an incomplete film and breaking several laws. This can impact Tiger Zinda hai as well.
Censor Board furious with makers of Padmavati for organising private screenings without waiting for CBFC certification. Sources say filmmakers sent incomplete documents, 3D version not ready. ‘Private verification violation of law. Why are some channels playing Super Censor.’

Salman Khan has not seen a clash at the Box Office lately. Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees was supposed to clash with his Sultan, but SRK decided to shift his movie. Even Padmavati was earlier targetting the Christmas weekend. The producers, later on, decided to prepone it to December 1st. However, now it looks like an epic clash is going to happen.
Padmavati is the magnum opus which stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. The actors have got amazing reviews from the media and fans for their performance. This is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s third film with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Padmavati by far is his most ambitious work.
Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger. It continues Tiger and Zoya’s mission.
