SRK becomes the first Indian actor to get World Economic Forums Crystal Award which are awarded to artists for bringing a change in humanity. Shah Rukh Khan who has received several awards for his charity work gets one more recognition for his charity initiatives and joins an elite list of artistes. King Khan is the only Indian actor on the list that boasts of actor like Cake Blanchett from Lord Of The Rings movie and Sir Elton John.
Speaking about SRK, World Economic Forum says,
Shah Rukh Khan is one of Bollywood’s most prominent actors who has been at the forefront of the Indian film and television industry for over 30 years. He is the founder of the non‐profit Meer Foundation, which provides support to female victims of acid attacks and major burn injuries through medical treatment, legal aid, vocational training, rehabilitation and livelihood support. He has also been responsible for the creation of specialized children’s hospital wards and has supported childcare centres with free boarding for children undergoing cancer treatment.
SRK does not like to speak a lot about his charity works and prefers to keep them private whether it is his work of Meer foundation or his donation to hospitals. We congratulate SRK for making India proud and wish him well for all his future projects.
SRK is currently working on his next film ZERO which is being directed by Anand.L.Raai and it also has stellascast of katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The teaser of the film was launched on the New years and received to a great reception.
